Superintendent

 

Dear Haddon Township School District Community,

 

 

I am now entering my fifth year as Superintendent of Schools. It is an excellent time to look back on some meaningful accomplishments and look forward to another exciting year. In just a short time, construction will begin on the recently approved $30 million referendum to improve our facilities and school district infrastructure dramatically. We will continue to build on our traditions and sustain momentum with recently adopted initiatives such as full-day comprehensive kindergarten, newly adopted programs, and expanded offerings. Educating the whole child and prioritizing physical and psychological safety and wellness programs for all individuals will be continued points of emphasis. As part of our district mission and vision, we aim for all students to find a place of belonging and significance in the Haddon Township School District. We will continue implementing and creating learning environments where students will find meaning and purpose. Pursuing the highest standards of excellence while developing positive and healthy relationships are areas that we will continuously strive for. Students will learn to value their unique educational journey and the "process" of learning over the "product." Understanding that failure is never fatal and success is rarely permanent are key tenets to helping all students thrive.

 

 As we begin another school year, we will continue to ask and answer the question: How can we help our students pursue their most ambitious goals and dreams while developing healthy and significant relationships to positively impact the world?
