Preschool

For Preschoolers (three to five years)

The Haddon Township School District offers a continuum of programs for preschoolers with disabilities and developmental delays. 

Early screening and identification of preschoolers at risk is provided by the school district at no cost to families. 

To receive services, the child must meet the eligibility guidelines according to the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA). A preschooler, defined as a child between the ages of 3-5, who is experiencing a developmental delay in the area(s) of physical (gross/fine motor), cognitive, communication, social/emotional, and adaptive may benefit from educational services or support.

For Infants and Toddlers (Birth to Three)

 If you are concerned your infant or toddler is developing or learning differently, call the statewide toll free referral number for the New Jersey Early Intervention System (NJEIS) at 1-888-653-4463.
